We have spent a year converting a huge building complex into a paintball and combat games park. You've never seen anything like it.
For 30 years site was operated as a massive state-of-the-art truckstop with hundreds of thousands of trucks passing through each year, and millions of gallons of diesel sold. A gigantic hub in the trucking industry. It's location was perfect for the transport industry: right at the intersection of several major interstate highways!
In 2005 the truckstop was closed after many years of service, and sat unused for several years.
Eventually, the Safety Wolf team got together and decided it would make the ULTIMATE urban paintball facility. In 2009, the project to convert the old truck stop into a combat sports facility began.
We spent hundreds on man hours clearing and modifying the 100 room hotel to be suitable for paintball play. All furniture and junk was removed, new indoor lighting installed, and structural modifications made for more tactical play.
